Description
OPINEL No.6 STAINLESS STEEL COLORAMA FOLDING & LOCKING KNIFE
The Opinel No.6 Folding Knife is a compact and versatile tool, ideal for outdoor activities, sports, and daily manual tasks such as small crafts and sewing. Its size is particularly suited to smaller hands. The knife features a 7 cm (2.76 inches) martensitic stainless steel blade with a hardness of 55-57 HRC, offering excellent sharpness, high resistance to abrasion, and corrosion resistance. The blade's Yatagan shape, inspired by a traditional Turkish saber, is ground to an exclusive convex profile that ensures both strength and efficient regrinding.
The handle is crafted from PEFC-certified hornbeam wood, sourced from eco-managed farms in the Jura and Vercors regions. This white wood with few veins is ideal for applying color and is varnished to protect against moisture and dirt. The handle measures 9.29 cm (3.66 inches), providing a comfortable grip.
Equipped with the Virobloc® safety ring, invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the knife allows the blade to be locked in both open and closed positions, enhancing safety during use and transport. The Virobloc is made of stainless steel and consists of two sections: one fixed and one sliding.
With its combination of practical design and high-quality materials, the Opinel No.6 Folding Knife is a dependable companion for those who appreciate traditional craftsmanship and modern functionality.
