The Opinel No.8 Outdoor Orange Folding Knife is a versatile and durable tool designed for outdoor enthusiasts. It features an 8.5 cm (3.35 inches) 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel blade with a 2.5 mm thickness, providing exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. A 3.5 cm serrated section near the handle allows for efficient cutting of natural and synthetic ropes. Additionally, the blade incorporates a shackle key suitable for 4 to 10 mm shackles, making it a practical choice for sailing and other activities.
The handle is made from fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, ensuring high resistance to extreme temperatures (-40°C to +80°C) and moisture. It includes a non-slip area for a secure grip during use. An integrated 110 dB survival whistle is built into the handle, providing a valuable safety feature for emergency situations.
Equipped with the Virobloc® safety ring, the knife allows the blade to be locked in both open and closed positions, enhancing user safety during transport and use.
